CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW
Construction on Phase 1 of the Embrace Downtown project will begin in February 2026. Construction is being phased in three sections to minimize the impact on businesses and residents. Construction is anticipated to be complete for Phase 1 in November 2026, weather permitting. Construction will take place on Logan Street between Eighth and Ninth streets. Some construction will also occur on the perimeter of these limits.
Phase 1A: Eighth and Logan Intersection
Phase 1A construction will take place at the intersection of Eighth Street and Logan Street. Crews will be installing new stormwater infrastructure, intersection asphalt pavement and a new sidewalk connecting Logan Street to Clinton Street.
This work is anticipated to begin on or after Feb. 9 and will result in the closure of the intersection of Eighth Street and Logan Street. This phase is anticipated to last 45 days, weather permitting. Detours have been identified for vehicles and pedestrians to minimize the impact of construction to businesses as much as possible.

PARKING AVAILABILITY
PHASE 1B: Logan street
Phase 1B construction will take place on Logan Street from Eighth Street through the intersection at Ninth Street. During this phase, a 6' wide sidewalk will be maintained adjacent to building frontages for (patrons/tenants/visitors) to gain access to the buildings. The remaining portion of sidewalk and street up to the Hamilton County Courthouse seat wall will be closed as work progresses. In addition to widening the sidewalks, crews will be removing curbs, installing landscaping buffers, and more to cultivate a traffic-calmed environment centered around pedestrian safety and accessibility.
This work will begin after the first segment is complete and will result in the closure of Logan Street from east of Eighth Street to the Ninth Street intersection. Business access will be maintained throughout this phase, but there will be no parking on Logan Street.
Detours have been identified for vehicles and pedestrians.

PHASE 1C: Sidewalk reConstruction
Phase 1C construction includes sidewalk reconstruction along Logan Street that will improve the accessibility and walkability of downtown Noblesville. This phase will construct the remaining portion of sidewalk directly adjacent to building frontages. Temporary access points will be constructed to maintain access for various entries as this phase is completed. Pedestrian access will be maintained to businesses throughout construction.
